By using ScheduleFA (https://schedulefa.com), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the tool.

2. What the service does

ScheduleFA is a free, client-side utility that helps compute the Schedule FA section of the Indian ITR-2 return from broker exports. It performs currency conversion and value calculations in your browser and produces draft reports and files.

3. Not professional advice

ScheduleFA does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. The output is a calculation aid, not a filed return and not a substitute for a qualified chartered accountant. You are responsible for verifying every figure and for your own filing. Always consult a professional before submitting your return.

4. Acceptable use

Use the tool lawfully. Don't attempt to disrupt it, misrepresent it as official, or resell it as your own service without attribution consistent with its open-source license.

5. Accuracy & data

Exchange-rate and price data are provided on a best-effort basis and may contain errors or gaps. Tax rules change. We make no warranty that the output is complete or correct for your situation.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScheduleFA and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any tax penalties, interest, or losses arising from use of the tool. Your sole remedy is to stop using it.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
